Born in 1985 and raised in Indiana, Julia Wright was inspired to be creative by her artistically talented father and grandmother.  She was also taught to love agriculture by her wonderful grandfather.  So, she's always been surrounded with rural life and artwork, and it would be impossible for her to choose one over the other.  It's a strange combination, but it has worked out well for her.  She even received her A.A.S. in Agribusiness as well as an Associates in Fine Arts--Studio Concentration.  Her other great love is history.  She can often be found perusing old newspapers and magazines looking for imagery to use in her artwork, or reading articles about the early 1900s.

She now lives outside a small town in Southern Indiana on a large farmstead with lots of livestock, her husband, daughter, and mother-in-law.  She can often be found making art in her on-farm studio.
